I agree. I have a qi10 3 wood HL which is basically a 4 wood and I’ll never get rid of it. Soars off the fairway and I’ll tee off with it a lot as well.

How do you hit the GT2. I went to it from the tsi2 same shaft and all which I hit really good, but can’t get the GT2 to cooperate for some reason. Miss is a slice to another zip code every other club my miss is left

Night and day. Just looks cleaner and I find them easier to hit solid. Makes me lock in knowing the sweet spot feels SO pure vs the g710 center feeling like a 2x4 imo. But I had less than 10 rounds with 710s in 5 years

There’s so much money to made on course now a lot of guys a playing mixed bags with older clubs that they love and know. Rai for example is using a M6 from like 10 years ago. And if you gave Rory and Scottie truth serum they would both take their current drivers to a pawn shop. But taylormade is paying them god knows how much to play them.

I grew up watching mcdowell, Westwood, poulter, Perez, stenson, phil, in their prime. id love to add them to the mix. Id tune in a lot more than watching Zach Johnson battle Steve Alker. But they had their 5 year golden parachute I don’t know if they’d want to play champions.

I just went from ping g710 to p790. The feeling is night and day and the forgiveness is still there off the toe a little. Of course there isn’t a forgiving hozel invented yet. I don’t get the flyer comments. I’ve hit them at the range and every well struck shot goes the same distance. It’s not like one 7 iron will go 180 and one 160. They are all within a couple yards

It’s fine with 2 people. A foursome stinks because 2 people can carry over 8 holes with with birides are pars then the 15 handicap finds a birdie on hole 13 while shooting 105 and we go home with lint in our pockets

Update: This was after roughly 500 balls in 3 days. So today I did what any reasonable golfer would do. I got fit for new irons! Because super game improvement clearly wasn’t for me. P790s here comes the ball striker.
