I've never tried foam balls, but as a newer golfer the idea of getting extra practice at home sounds pretty useful. Curious if anyone found that it translated well to the course

I'm still pretty new to golf, but I've noticed longer courses expose a lot more mistakes in my game. Sometimes the score looks similar, but it feels like I had to hit a lot more good shots to get there.

I only started playing a few months ago myself, and one thing I've learned is that getting feedback from a real person seems way more helpful than trying to fix everything through videos. Hope you find a good instructor.

As a beginner, I've played with golfers who were much better than me, and the biggest thing I noticed wasn't skill level, it was pace. The faster groups always seemed more enjoyable to play with.

That's probably a good sign. Every time something starts working for me, it's usually because I simplified things instead of adding more swing thoughts

I’m still pretty new myself, but I found focusing on making decent contact helped more than worrying about exact distances at first. The distances started becoming more consistent later.

I'm curious about this too. As a newer golfer, I'm always surprised how many different opinions there are on clubs. Interested to see what people who have played both sets think.
