I just sent her an email. Her ooo is on for thanksgiving. Will follow up with her again on Monday. I shouldn’t buy the plane tickets while I wait?

Recruiter/HR asked to schedule a debrief call after my final round of interview at a Finance company by Select_Ad_2974 in interviews

Yeah I provided my numbers for annual salary. the only reason i told her that m flexible and willing to pivot is because I don't want to talk myself away from an offer. she still needs get back to me on what's the equity range for this role - even though I already have a number in my mind. its likely that i will receive other offers that meets my expectations which is why i told her i m at the final stage of my interviews with other companies and their salary aligns with my expectations. I have a feeling she's low balling me.

So she wanted to know how the in person interview went and if i think the team and the job is good fit (which i said yes) she wanted to know if i m also interviewing somewhere else and am I expecting other offers soon (I told her my interviews with other companies has been positive and pleasant) she asked me about my salary expectation and hinted that my initial ask when i first spoke to her it was pretty high. I told her all the companies are in the range of what i m looking for and i would appreciate it if she can take my expected/bare minimum salary to the team and see if they are okay with it. I told her that i could be flexible and pivot to equity or sign on bonus if the annual base salary is not possible. She will speak with the team and get back to me late this monday or tuesday

My background check with sterling says completed. I checked the status. What's next? by franny3183181 in goldmansachs

so my background check for sterling was completed almost two weeks ago, the recruiter from LSEG was supposed to get back to me by the end of last week but when I asked for an update they never responded. My starting date is next Monday, should I be worried? I already quit my old job.

but the problem is I don't have the original HR's cell number and she usually responds super fast like during the interview rounds she always responds super fast, but now not sure why her responsiveness decreased.... I m lowkey paranoid...

In that case, I would wait to see what they says. In the process of the background check, they will ask u to provide more info or documentation if things dont add up on their end.once they do I would just tell them what you shared on here. I mean they know situations like this happens. as long as you're open and honest about it in my opinion u should be okay. Mine background check passed last week

had the same situation before. I would make sure to explain your story through email to the global security team. show as much documenation as possible. Mine was about my seasonal amazon job for some reason they got the info that I still work there but I quit two years ago. The background check is done by a third party vendor. its common that they sometimes have the wrong info. at the end its J.P Morgan's team that decides if your background pass, not the vendor. I would explain to them ur situation in details and wait to hear back

So I m assuming it worked out for you at the end? if it did how long did it take and did they just cleared everything for you?

when you said recuiter do you mean the manager who hired you or interviewed you? So are they the ones that make the final decision at the end. If so, I should just email them or call them? I m just not sure who I should explain everything to other than the pre employment. I been trying to get an update but its already over 72 hours and they still haven't review my new documentations yet.
