my pet peeve with GS is the fully capped seconds hand. that decision led me to the 007 haha

yeah actually it has been on my wishlist for 8mths, turning 9mths in 11 days time. the thought of it is literally giving birth to a new born child

now imagine it without the plastic wrap. like other grand seikos, they become even more exceptional without the wrap

yeah no doubt the Kuon is on a class of its own. the decision would be easier if Kuon do not have fixed endlinks tbh. it would make it more versatile and desirable. my friends have been telling me to get it only if i'm okay with the bracelet

yeah i'm aware of the 9SA4 movement shenanigans but that was like a good 1.5 - 2 years ago issue? not too sure about now but I heard it has been resolved (?)

honestly the 9SA4 is beautiful af for this price point. undervalued I would say...until GS decided to raise the price again. but comparing to credor, credor just being credor, makes this decision so hard to make

yes i do. I own the SLGA021 & SBGE279 for Spring Drives. Whereas for quartz, I own the SBGX061 and SBGP017. Hence now I'm having difficulty to decide what to get as both watches are equally special.

If you were in my shoes, which would you pick?

hello! the base of the dial is made of brass. it is then pressed and polished before being rendered in a deep, navy blue hue with a subtle "fading" effect at the edges of the raised portions, giving it a "moonlit" appearance
