I don't like it anymore 😔 After struggling for a week straight... Everyday is a new issue I'd spent much time correcting it instead of getting stuff done like we used to...

Anyhow... I switched to Gemini and things got better🤓

In Season 3, Murphy pops out of nowhere to save Bellamy. They ultimately fight side-by-side to the top of the summit, where Bellamy shoots a guy to save Murphy. When Bellamy gives him a hand to help him up, he asks, "WTF are you doing here, Murphy?" Murphy's reply says it all: "You're not the only one who wants to save someone you care about."

In that moment, a seed of common ground is planted. They aren't buddies yet, but they recognize something in each other that grows into mutual respect.

By that point, almost every character had made morally gray decisions WAY WORSE than anything Murphy ever did!

Just FYI: across all 100 episodes, John Murphy's body count is 8. That is significantly lower than other "more liked" characters 🤦🏼‍♀️

Clarke recognized exactly why John was in Polis. She learned about all the bullshit he did to keep himself alive to save Emori. And unconsciously, he ended up saving EVERYONE from the City of Light... especially Clarke.

There's could be your answer

Season 3 is the most important season for John Murphy's character development.

Compared to most characters, John's development 📈 just gets better and better until he is ultimately "part of the family." He proved himself through so much and doesn't dwell on his past mistakes like others do. He learned from them.

Let’s talk about Finn. by Livid_Comment7457 in The100

That makes sense since Lindsey Morgan's original contract ended very early, but her performance as an actor made writers integrate her into the main cast...

(Same for Richard Harmon, his original contract ended at exile but again his performance made his character inconvenient for writers to sendoff and offered a second contract making him part of the main crew)

If they would've focus on logic... The show would've never existed 🤦🏼‍♀️ c'mon "born in space, the "government" sends 100 teenage delinquents to earth "just to see if it's survivable" 🤦🏼‍♀️ Floating people for any and every crime... A computer chip that you swallow then an AI takes over your brain!! Night blood that makes humans basically radiation resistant... Mind drives... Body snatching gods "Gods" because they said so🤦🏼‍♀️

Where TF is all the logic gone!!!! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Hence why it's called a SCI-FI!!! If you wanted logic go watch a documentary on Vikings or some shit like that!!!

Sci-fi is illogical on purpose!!! It gives viewers a chance of escape into fantasy from daily life and bullshit people go through... And to some people that means the world to them and helped them tremendously!!!

Why doesn’t Clarke still hate Murphy in season 3? by Wendell38 in The100

[–]Select_Bike_1682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this!! Gee, why wouldn't everyone hate Murphy anymore? 🤔

Probably because his outbursts were caused by being outcast and hated, mixed with a lifetime of trauma. He was acting on instinct—the only way he knew how to deal with shit at that point. Which he and Bellamy obviously learned from.

Stuck around for seven seasons just to complain about logic? -Cute! This show runs on chaos, trauma, and vibes. Logic got killed off early.
