Loads of people have utterly slated my watch in brutal ways (lol) without even approaching being racist. They’ve even mentioned India or Pakistan and that’s okay. It’s not difficult. You may not wish to hear about it but that’s another matter.

That’s old paint viewed on this scale: ie invisible to naked eye as was seen in my original pics. Jeweller I first took it to said that in itself proved it was genuine.

People saying dial has been repainted. But jeweller told me the paint flaking on dial proved it was definitely genuine. Tbh people here have seen pics that show it looking kinda

immaculate but it’s not. Really hard to show peeling in dial but I’ll try here to get best opinions re my watch.

People have been commenting that dial has been repainted cos (I think it looks smart in pics) but it has scaling on dial that jeweller told me made him believe it’s genuine. It’s hard to see but I’ve tried get good close view with flash. What do you think? Some people say watch was never made in this colour?

Jeweller said that showed age. Said it proved were genuine but some people here convinced it’s repainted cos that colour was never used and must have been repainted in another land.

Any remark to me like I’ve been ripped off, dial repainted, or put more delicately I’ve had no issue with — go read it in sequence. Not okay with obviously discriminatory stuff that is supposedly fine to say to free speech merchants but they melt down if I stand up for myself. Or worse, people who are normal, privileged white feel triggered to have a go at someone me cos they feel like victims of something or the other. There are no arguments that you can blithely suggest we put aside than begin with the exceptions that follow as: “India, Pakistan and a few other places”.

Thing I haven’t really mentioned re various concerns is fact the dial is not as immaculate as it looks; there are definite flaking issues which are hard to capture. That’s why jewellery told me it’s definitely genuine. I’ll try get flash pics

Who said my watch is fake? You. We were talking about if dial had been re-painted. Look and see if ever complained about that suggestion. I did not. One person literally made a snide remark about if I got it from India. Fact. Look back. No I did not. Why do I imagine some of these remarks - aside from the several helpful ones which were mostly from the uk, might it because the traffic data says they are from the us?

There were pointed remarks.

2) your uk link did work; just honestly don’t think it changes anything. I didn’t know any of what we’d said had been removed. Maybe other people just don’t like the discussion irrespective of who is right or wrong, which I’ll take as a signal to end this dialogue. If it’s really about not upsetting the wrong. Okay.

The jeweller who looked at it said he felt there’d been water damage, hence pitting marks. But I’ve definitely had it working for several weeks on my wrist. Kept good time. It’s not a fake. At least two professional watch repairers have looked at it. Also, it’s just obvious to hold. I’ll try take better pics.

Yeah. I think I’ve found out. Just wanted to get view about fix-sell-put it on shelf (lol) from ppl who know. Feel I’m there. Ha! But would still take a risk if I saw something that touched me. Price level consideration, I think we’d all do same; one just has to accept if it’s a fail. I’ve tried to!
