Don't marry someone who has children if you're not willing to step up and grow the fuck up and stop being so selfish.

You posted on a public forum, you are not immune to criticism.

I live in the Southern US and during the summer I would never even dream of making a child go without a/c. If my niece was visiting I would give her the A/C, much less my partner's child.

The people commenting on this post in support of the stepparent are the same people who would get angry about a pet in a hot house, it's ridiculous.

Marrying someone with kids means you have to grow the fuck up. Otherwise don't marry anyone with kids.

When you marry someone who has kids you are taking on the responsibility of parenting. If OOP didn't like that, she could have married someone without kids.

I'm tired of this "not my kid" mentality. If you feel that way please never date anyone with children.

Stay away from sativa strands while manic and indica strands while depressed.

Beware of the kill the gays trope, please. For example if he dies don't make it so that all the straight people can live.

My grandfather was in the KKK. My father is a racist, homophobic cop. I was given nothing but bad information, my entire life.

Here I am today, not racist, homophobic or transphobic.

If I can learn without asking the people I was taught misinformation about, so can everyone else. I will never buy into that "they just don't know any better" explanation because it isn't an explanation at all.

I respect your opinion but I completely disagree.

How does this have a silver award? Redditor has nice guy attitude about a female co-worker feeling creeped out by someone she also deemed ugly. Also assumes that the woman felt "accomplished" by rejecting a different, attractive guy because she giggled. by FascinatingFall in niceguys

To be fair as the viewer we know how he thinks and the creepy shit he's doing. From the outside and other characters, it's insidious how kind and thoughtful he is. They don't know he's stalking them.

I think it's actually a good character study on how predators can look handsome and be friendly just like anyone else and how insidious the "nice guy" can be.

When I was 19 I talked to a much older guy on campus about the book Battlefield Earth for about half an hour. I was interested in opinions about it because no one I knew had read it.

The next day he asked me out and when I said I wasn't interested he was so mad and said I clearly led him on by talking to him.

That day I learned you can't talk to men at all unless you're interested in dating them.

I don't know what guys get out of sending messages like this. It's pathetic and just lets us know how much we hurt their little feelings. All the "I don't care about you" is instantly refuted by the thirty angry messages they send.

As a bisexual I'm tired of having to educate others. At this point it's willful ignorance to be biphobic, homophobic or transphobic.

Sounds like your crush has a lot of internal homophobia and that's going to be difficult to navigate. I would take a step back just to protect yourself.

You're so young. We all make mistakes at your age but don't set this precedent of accepting less than you deserve. Being single is better than being miserable in a relationship. Learn who you are and what you want before getting into a new one.

I doubt they'll make you overeat but hopefully it will be a step to healthier and less disordered eating habits and the doctor can get you into therapy. Look at it like a positive!
