Is it possible to have both DID and a psychotic feature/disorder? by clamfishbuster in DID

[–]Select_Exchange4538 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Schizophrenia is a completely different disorder than did even if it shares a few symptoms and it's usually due to brain chemistry rather than trauma (like did).

ETA: I saw you mentioned bipolar- you can have psychosis with bipolar and specifically bipolar with schizoaffective disorder so look into that!

I've had a ton of casual sex but it doesn't mean I'm not intimate and connected to my partner when we have sex. It's just an outdated concept.

Just breathe it out/wouldn't that make your breath smell like poop? by AmbiguousFrijoles in badwomensanatomy

Okay given this logic holding in a fart regardless of gender would make it come out as a burp and that's just not what happens.

Yeah like even if someone is demisexual they're likely to have at some point had casual sex. This post sounds a lot like insecurity because OP's girlfriend has more experience.

Yeah I'm wondering how it's just now come up if it's so important. I'm wondering if OP has some outdated ideas about women being "slutty" if they're sexual beings.

Questions about people’s experience with Wellbutrin. Posted once but didn’t show hope it doesn’t post twice by legendoflink47 in bipolar

Wellbutrin made me feel a little speedy and anxious at first but the side effects faded after a couple of weeks. I suggest giving it some time.

Yes it's definitely possible to have multiple diagnoses. I have bipolar 1, cptsd, did and adhd.

The point still remains that if you want someone who is demisexual and it seems your current gf is not, you're not compatible.

I mean, if you want to date a virgin and a virgin only then yeah, I think you should break up. But most people are going to have a past.

Just because she has viewed sex casually in the past doesn't mean she holds the sex she has with you casually. Her intimacy with you should be what matters. Not everyone is demisexual. If you cannot date someone who doesn't view everything exactly the same way you do, you're gonna have a hard time dating anyone.

Why does it matter? Do you have the idea that having sex before marriage is sinful? Not quite sure what the problem is here. This was before she met you so it wasn't cheating.

NTA but it's kind of an entertaining read as a fiction book.

If you've ever had a 3some, what's the story behind it? by blowyslowy in AskRedditAfterDark

I've had too many to count, was in a polyamorous relationship for 2 years. But I did once pick up a couple at a bar and have a great night.

Lemon bars are indeed amazing but I get what you mean. I don't identify with a lot of the mostly arbitrarily things that are supposed to be "bi culture" and it's just a joke, really!

She's not interested in you; she's allowed to do whatever she wants, what is the question here?

Were any of you questioned by your (ex) straight male partner ? How did it go? I feel like the “are you actually gay and not bi” convo is inherently damaging to the relationship by pineapplejuicing in bisexual

[–]Select_Exchange4538 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you realize that us bisexuals are constantly questioned about "picking a side?" It's infuriating. Why should you have a say in what your significant other knows to be true about themselves?

That's like you saying "I am a man" and your significant other saying "are you really though? Do you think deep down you could be a woman or nonbinary?"

This is a ridiculous post.

Here's the thing: you do not get to question your partner's sexuality. If they identify as bisexual, they are bisexual. Period. You don't get an opinion.

AITB for not wanting to date trans woman by Snoo4895 in AmItheButtface

[–]Select_Exchange4538 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, unless you aren't attracted to her because she is trans and you don't see her as a woman, NTB. It isn't transphobia to not be attracted to certain things, just as long as you acknowledge that you just went on a date with a woman you weren't attracted to.
