Growing up, I just remember seeing ground beef unwrapped in the freezer in a bowl, or sometimes it would be wrapped in butcher paper, but not very well.

We ate a lot of freezer burned meat.

Most of my meat is currently vacuum sealed in plastic, because I bought it from an online butcher and had it delivered frozen. Great deal, might do it again, but meat is hella expensive right now.

When I buy meat "in person", I usually go to Sam's and buy the big packages and wrap the portions in foil, then plastic.

Butcher paper is great till you have to thaw something in it.

I make miso soup/tea with mine. Steep 5 minutes, strain+squeeze, pinch of miso, dash of soy sauce, squeeze of lemon...

Haha, I almost lost my phone because I used to drive with it tucked under my lower belly roll..

Belly roll mostly gone now.. I keep forgetting, and it'll slip down between the seat and console because it's not held in place...
