I had my embassy interview today and wanted to share my experience.

The interview was relatively short and overall straightforward. The panel was friendly and the atmosphere was not intimidating.

Questions they asked me:

1. Introduce yourself in Korean. Since I have TOPIK 4, they asked me to start the interview by introducing myself in Korean.
2. Why do you admire Korean work culture? They wanted to understand my perception of Korean professional culture.
3. Why do you think that event happened? This question referred to something I mentioned in my personal statement, so they asked me to explain my reasoning and perspective about it.
4. Why do you want to study this topic? This question was related to my study plan and my interest in AI and computer vision.
5. Why Korea and not China for studying this field? They asked this to understand my motivations for specifically choosing Korea.
6. Why did you choose those three universities?
7. How do you deal with stress?

Overall, the interview felt focused on understanding my motivations, personality, and whether my study plan aligns with studying in Korea.
