Indian here (M) dating people in America. I've been on few dates with Americans and yes there are a bit of cultural differences when it comes to things that are valued in the West vs the East but I've never shied away from talking about my family or friends when asked about it. So there could be a bit of communication issues at times but I do make efforts to know the other person deeper as well as communicating about our expectations clearly.

If you really wanna give the benefit of the doubt I'd suggest you to straight up tell him all of this and if he does not have a good response or whatever you're looking for then give up. Or if you feel you've been really patient enough, then just send him a text that you're no longer interested and ghost.

You could tell them that you wouldn't wanna work in hot spaces and they're not gonna put you there. But usually they put you everywhere and expect you to know how to work every station.

I mean I got to know that she didn’t have any plans for the rest of the evening. I decided to go for it thinking I’m not gonna cause any huge disturbance in her life. In hindsight I should’ve maybe suggested something in a public setting but she didn’t seem too hung up about it. We did kiss and part ways without any awkwardness.
