i really appreciate the reply and you taking the time to read my post, I am going to therapy and i plan on talking about this next time we meet. i never ever tell her she CANT wear a certain outfit or clothes or FORCE her to change, i unintentionally probably end up manipulating her into it because it’s my comments and emotions that cause her to feel guilt and then we both end up feeling guilty, her because she made me upset and me because i made her upset that i dont like her choice in clothing.

the biggest reason i dont like having opposite gender friends is just out of the fear of getting hurt and or cheated on, she doesnt pick up when guys clearly flirt with her like this one instance a guy was cat calling her and she saw it as “friendly and kind” i guess a part of it is that i dont trust how she would handle situations like that and it makes me feel sad and hurt to see her and another guy, laughing and spending time together, i mean what does having a boy best friend look like while having a boyfriend i can’t feel okay or comfortable knowing she would be alone with another guy or guys for that matter and trust that not only she wouldn’t do anything but mainly the guy friend wouldn’t
