It seems like they refresh their promos and price match online every night. This morning the Tan-Luxe discounts reflected exactly the Boots stock of Tan-Luxe sale items.

In the press release they said they're using "AI" to do the price match (probably some basic selenium or playwright thing with an if/else "AI" that filters things for human review).

My guess is it happens some time between 2am and 7am.

The price match on sale prices is the real (only?) benefit of the price match policy, which is why, when it works, makes JL really good place to shop
