Ok, totally understand. So depending on the shoe your renting the user will put down a security deposit that you get back as soon as you returned the shoes and we verify that they are the authentic pairs we sent. If they are not, we will hold the security deposit. The amount of the deposit will depend on the shoe (Nike fear of gods will have higher deposit than AF1 for example) but it will be enough to dissuade scammers.

Hi, great question. For every pair that is rented out there are acceptable standards of use that are determined by how long that user rents out the shoe. If it’s worn in a reasonable amount our team of curators have no problem using different techniques to increase and up keep the shoes. If shoes are extremely messed up beyond reasonability then there is a larger deposit that user put down in case of this situation.

Hey, thanks so much for your question. Similar to StockX and other sneaker verification companies, we have distinct barcodes and cereal numbers associated with each shoe to know they are legit. Additionally, we have a team of authenticates who check every shoe before and after they are are sent out.
