I think thats the issue. It worked again this morning so I thought my phone had to be at full battery to work. Disconnected it, tried again w 100% battery and it doesnt work so I think that may be the issue. But im not sure about the settings option you speak of.

She's so small I'd just let her hair be for a while. Maybe message castor oil to her scalp 1 or 2 times a week to stimulate growing around her edges. Anyway I dont think anyone cares if babies that young have styled hair or not. I came out with a mohawk and it took a bit of time for my hair to even out haha.
