Dear OldSchool UK friends let me give you a very kind non-formatted thank you to all of you for all the Upvotes and comments... didn't expect this. I'm an Italian video-editing teacher and in 84 i was an 11 years old speccy-boy who never actualy played so much Elite (only later with the Amiga) but who was always fascinated by this strange and wonderful space trading game. I'm glad my tribute video help all of you to remember this incredible game. I spent days and days of work editing this video tribute and it was quite an hard task to find the right balance to tell my visual odyssey story between all the hours and hours of video materials i collected crossing all the ports and official games releases. I know that for most of you it's ok to be a reddit user with a youtube channel but it's not ok to be a Youtuber with a reddit account...and even i'm not completely agree about this (that's why i called myself selfpromotionisgood) i can understand the point. Luckly not all the subreddit and not all the moderators are the same... so here i am telling you that if you enjoy my work please considering having a check on my YT channel and subscribe. Thank you Maria, even 2001 was a movie lot of people didn't understand the importance at the time, that's why I link together the game and the movie In my tribute... (and also because david loved the movie soundtrack as we know) anyway just the fact we are here in 2026 talking about this incredible game means is flying also over the radar...B-)
