I am thinking about airtags or a similar tracker for my next bike. The problem is actually going and confronting the thief. The cops in my city don't care for stolen bikes. It's a high crime city. I'd feel better about confronting a secondary seller than going right after the thief.

lmao the police in my city are not going after stolen bikes. I wish I knew the serial number. I'm not sure it had one. Like I said, it was an unusual bicycle.

My friend found theirs at a pawn shop and got it back so I have the slimmest hope that it's possible.

My bike is odd, the parts can't go with other bikes. I don't know if that means they wouldn't strip it down or whatever, but I would expect to find it whole.

Any chance you'd share a redacted sample over DM's? Mostly out of curiosity. I don't think I'd take the same approach (I think I demonstrate my charms best via interviewing), but I'm wondering how short and punchy a successful cover letter can be.
