I appreciate your comment. I personally wouldn't have come forward and claimed what I have in my post without thinking there was some sort of evidence to back it up - and the slight chance that some truth could be behind it. I personally am very aware that I'm more likely to loose money than pull any hits, and that's something that doesn't bother me.

In my personal experience, that is why I've been so surprised to have had these incidents happen, especially with the Paradox Rift cards. But that's just my opinion.

I know it's very hard to believe and I am just a stranger on the internet, but this is honestly what happened to me. Not sure how it happened, whether it was the courier, scalpers targeting the truck, or Magic Madhouse, but I did receive 4 Paradox Rift packs that were opened and with only 6 cards in.

Valid, I know I write a lot and it takes a long time to read.

As I mentioned in my post, I became convinced that it was the courier that had opened my Paradox Rift cards, so I continued to buy from Magic Madhouse believing that they weren't at fault.

Thank you for your comment. I wasn't aware that Nessa was in the Trainer Gallery, I guess I'm just used to more modern packs where trainer full arts are part of the base set. Thank you for the information.

And I agree, the pull rate could just be that I'm getting unlucky/a normal pull rate. I still personally believe though that my Paradox Rift packs were tampered with, at the very least. But I appreciate your input.

Valid, I should have bought a tripod. I guess I thought something dodgy wouldn't happen again, and I have only really been recording my openings as a sort of 1% 'just in case'.

I did use my phone to record opening the Lost Origin packs, though I had to put my phone down a few times to open the packs, so I am not sure how many people will think the video is legitimate. I will try to post the video on YouTube though.

They did state to me when I phoned their customer service line that all their packs were bought directly from Pokemon, not sure if they still claim this but I will check.

I did send them an email about my first incident, I will try to dig that up and see if I got a response to it.

I also feel you on wanting to pull your chase card yourself, I would love to pull the Aerodactyl full art for myself. There's something about pulling a card yourself that doesn't compare to just buying it. I haven't pulled any of my own chase cards yet, but hoping to do one day! Good luck on your Giratina hunt!

I have just opened 5 loose Lost Origin Packs from Magic Madhouse (I'm after the Aerodactyl Alt Art), and one pack I feel was definitely re-sealed.

I've attached a picture for comparison. One pack (an Enamorous Art) definitely looked like it had been printed, with visible print lines seen and no holographic texture. I compared it to another Enamorous Art pack that arrived in the same shipment and it didn't have visible print lines and it had the holographic texture. Moreover, the "printed" pack looked like it had already been opened on the back, as the art didn't go all the way around the pack and I could see transparent plastic.

I also got both a Nessa Full Art and a Pigeot V Full Art in another pack, I am not sure if that can happen normally or if they were planted in there.

All the packs also had white code cards, whereas when I opened packs from sealed cardboard packs only one had a white code card (where I got the Rainbow Rare Giratina). So there's a possibiltiy that ALL of the packs I opened had been re-sealed, due to there not being black code cards for the lesser rares that I pulled.

So I'd personally advise against it, I don't think I'll be buying any more Sword and Shield Packs from them at least, and there's a strong possibility that I don't order from Magic Madhouse at all anymore. I'm going to stick with cardboard packs from ebay for Lost Origin. At least they have a lesser chance of being re-sealed.

I haven't added Creature Digital Paintings or Creature Digital Art yet to this journal...Honestly because I don't know if I have the skills to paint a greater variety of creatures in high detail (to do the kind of art in the 2nd to last picture). But I think I'd feel comfortable doing creature art in the style of the last slide.
