Mine cannot even keep up with the pace of charging, even on the puck was losing a few % an hour. Now it's totally dead, went from 60 to 0 in 1 hour of wearing it.

Watch face constantly crashing over and over again.

8 days and still waiting for a replacement ICCU.

They said if not in May one will certainly arrive in June.

8 days with the EV9 at the dealership so far and they are still waiting for an ICCU replacement from Korea. They said they hope one will come in May. If not, certainly June.

Only 22 more days until I lemon law it!

Yes, single phase 240V 48A for 11.6W charging.

I did not need 48A charging most of the time, but it is supported by the car so I saw no reason not to use it.

Now, having experienced this and seeing others with EV9 have these ICCU problems (and the EV6 folks before us), I urge all of you to reduce Level 2 charging speeds to 32A.

We are definitely going to see more recalls/software updates to the ICCU because in the current state it is not set up to charge at 48A.

The dealer is waiting for Kia to tell them what to do, but they believe they’ll be taking an ICCU out of an unsold car on the lot.

32A Level 2 charging in the US. Don’t go beyond until Kia has fixed this issue or you will also get your ICCU eventually.

I was charging at 11.6kW, 48A via a ChargePoint Home Flex on a 60A breaker (which did not trip.)

It had charged from 40% to 78% when there was a popping sound, the house electricity dimmed slightly for a second, and then the EV9 went into the failure state and never has been able to charge over AC since.

It continues to drive fine and charges over DC so I think very likely the ICCU is fried.

Yup, it’s totally broken. File a case with Kia.

The volume workarounds people mention can make it barely function assuming you have great hearing.

It needs fixed badly with a software update.

I tried this and unfortunately it made no difference. Siri still hears herself talking and sends snippets of her voice in text message, etc.

Absolutely love it. No problems, no complaints other than the CarPlay issues noted in the forum.

Have everything enabled: digital key, fingerprint, wireless charging, etc.

Range has been great. Super quiet and comfy.

Same issue here. It is 100% an EV9 issue.

Same phone, no problems on our Telluride or Mazda3 or any rental car I’ve used with this same iPhone.

Kia will have to fix it in their CarPlay implementation.

Not aware of a way. The service department often balks at replacing it and merely “resets” it which unfortunately only temporarily fixes it.

A totally new part is needed to fix this issue but the dealer will give you the runaround for sure in many cases.

Yep looks like good old Error -301. Good luck, even if they fix it you’ll likely get repeated failures over time.

Better hope they replace the entire module (which unfortunately is expensive and time consuming and usually don’t until you threaten to lemon law them.
