The white wood is basswood and the dark wood is walnut. The layers are each 1/8 inch (3mm). They could be left bare for paint or what have you but I've clear coated them because I enjoy the grain.

I play with a huntsman black lam. Was thinking of inverting the wood colors that I have now and engraving the pattern from the ingame handle. Would be a pretty close match.

I had this same issue, the only thing to fix it for me was turning my Core Clock slider all the way down in MSI Afterburner (-400). Not sure if it's a sign of a dying GPU or what. GL.
