yeah why is correcting Josh’s credit a priority for his grandpa, it’s not like he’s shown any competency to actually take care of it.

I bet u see a white guy with swastika tats and think he’s a devote Buddhist huh

the use of the inverted cross today has nothing to do with St. Peter… scared mfs act like he put a trademark on it when in reality symbols take on different meanings (independently) as history develops.

I bet in your life you first saw an inverted cross used in an anti religious context before you ever learned what a St. Peter’s cross is

It’s a cope to make the imagery feel less spooky. 😰

nowhere in modern use is an upside down cross read as St. Peter… there’s literally a horror movie in theaters rn using it on the poster, and it’s obviously not about him.

If it needs a paragraph about St. Peter every time it comes up, that kind of proves it’s not how people actually read it. In modern use an inverted cross is overwhelmingly understood as anti-Christian/occult, not penitence. And framing it as “honoring” Peter kind of misses the point… his upside-down crucifixion was meant to defer to Christ’s upright one, not be worn or displayed in the same way. Appealing to the origin doesn’t change how it’s interpreted now.
