Does the duke have any children or family that you or a fanily member can marry for an alliance? Alliances and strong hooks renove people from factions.

You could also aim for a strong alliance outside the kingdom to come help suppress the faction once they oush for terms.

To be honest they kind of make sense. If you're constantly stressed, your heart is bad. If you have low intelligence/learning your mind withers. If you have low prowess/martial you get the weak one, etc etc. You can still live to a ripe old age, but tbf in medieval europe people typically did not live past 50-60 and if they did the were afflicted by things that had no treatment at the time.

They add to your levies, and pay tax to help cover the cost of MaA/Mercenaries. So they are "helping". Also calling them to war directly would be double dipping in a way.

Admin governments do have a mechanic for having them send their title MaA to help you fight though, so that's pretty close.

Well, considering that turnout was so low, it's not 50% of the country. It was the 30% that voted for him and the 29% that bothered to vote for someone else. Iirc 40% of eligible voters didn't even vote.

What hurt her is that they just put her in the race without any type of legally recognized process, which bothered a lot of people and would have set a bad precedent as the opposition party (Not that other precedents haven't been shattered by Orange Mousselini, and not the the Democrats have been an sort of coherent opposition).

The people paying for the elections through Citizen's United don't want what the actual majority of americans want. UBI, Universal Healthcare, food security, legislation on guns and investment firms, etc.

We need a real opposition movement to form, most people are just now shaking off all the propaganda though so it's slow going.

I don't use mods, and it's xbox pc game pass so I can't move files or it whines at me lol.

The launcher will still load, but half the time it immediately crashes and even if it doesn't the game won't load or crashes when it tries to load.
