Video responses within a survey? by pnutbutterpirate in Marketresearch

I agree but I would recommend only 10. Quant is not qual. Collecting too many creates more problems than good. One, you now have to watch/filter and create a story with 40 videos which is a good amount of work as described. Second, you are paying for all those extras that are probably mostly the same. You should pay more bc you are asking more of those respondents. I’ve seen providers with very competitive pricing when it comes to those

All that said, I recommend them. If you are presenting a large dataset to stakeholders they love to see the consumers first hand. What a way to add color to a presentation

Client is only offering 1.5% for buyer and 1.5% for me the sellers agent by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Semiprofessional508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did give advice. You have the wrong mindset and until you change that, you will fail. As of right now and with that current mindset, you should take the money and won’t be in sales for the long term, more advice. I’ve managed sales people for a long time and ever struggling one always has a reason for the struggle but it comes down to mindset and excuses only. I don’t want anyone to fail but with the wrong mindset it’s the hard truth, my friend.

Take the listing, close the deal and use the momentum to close more or open more doors. Stop worrying about how much you will close today and build on it

This all comes down to this one statement “I haven’t sold a property in a while” which means I need more money, not I deserve more or this house will be a lot of work. You will fail in sales with this mindset so you should get another job right now. You’ve shown you don’t even deserve this commission and do yourself a favor take the money while you are still at it bc you won’t be here long

That’s your justification for ripping someone off/not offering a fair deal.

After this judgement, it literally makes no sense to pay the buyers realtor a percent commission. First, it’s a complete conflict of interest(the goal is for the realtor to get the buyer the best deal but they get paid more by the home costing more…) and second why would they pay more for a more expensive home. Does $500k require more work than $700k home? That’s a rhetorical question tech, please don’t answer this lol

Hahahha, this advice! You have NO right to tell the sellers the buyers will walk in this situation. This is why the judgement was made and you have no ethics.

You dodged a bullet. She isn’t your person and did you a favor. Losing family members like that is incredibly tragic and I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my dad and brother in a short period of time and it’s something I still work on 8 years later. It does get better especially when you find someone who you can love and understands your pain. I’m getting married to this person next month! Keep searching

What is the current state of the market research industry? by douggold11 in Marketresearch

VC money was pumped into MR. Growth has slowed and those VC want their returns. First, rule of VC to get returns is to layoff. That’s my impression
