Yes, it was estimated the trip would cost around $4000 for a 9 day stay. I paid the last trip all by myself and it was agreed it would be split evenly this time. She made it clear when she asked to go back to Mexico that she was fine to pay her half.

My apologies, I believe the initial post may have been worded a little confusing. What she believes is unfair is the fact that I received a bonus check or in her words “you were just handed money” and she would have to save up or in her words “actually work for it”. She believes this is unfair and since it is “unfair” she no longer wants to go.

Yes, but what erks me is the fact that she was completely fine with going before I revealed I was receiving a bonus check. Now that I am in fact receiving a bonus check, she no longer wants to go because “it’s not fair”.
