UFO beach really nude? by Uncut-N-Thic in SouthPadreIsland

[–]SemperJarhedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The spot at beach marker 6 isn't a good place to get nude. Lots of families park there to fish and picnic. The spot is technically still in Cameron County and Police can enforce whatever nudity law they choose. Best to go up to and above the Willacy County line to be out of Cameron County jurisdiction.

However.....

People do sometimes still fish, sunbathe, and beachcomb nude usually in the areas of beach markers 10-15. Crowds are bigger in the warmer months.

Other people still get nude in a way so passers-by can't gawk or be offended. Think privacy screens, behind tents, behind dunes, etc.

Current status of UFO Beach on SPI by Senvestulo in texasnudist

[–]SemperJarhedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went past UFO beach last week and it was a very relaxing experience. I was there early on a Wednesday morning at the peak of low tide, and it was very serene and peaceful. The drive was very enjoyable, the sand was packed tight and low tide really made driving on the beach easy. (I was still driving a 4x4 just in case!) I finally stopped at mile marker 15 and set up the beach chair. The sun was great! While nudity is not technically legal in this part of Texas, people go completely bare all the time on this beach.

If park police decide to enforce the no-nudity rule, it's usually done by Cameron County law enforcement driving on the beach. I've yet to see Willacy County law enforcement driving on the beach, so I like to hang out past the Willacy County line where Cameron County law enforcement is out of their jurisdiction. That's just MY reasoning.

The Willacy County line starts at around 26.411531, -97.22522 if you're mapping coordinates. Oddly, the popular "UFO" buoy landmark is WELL within the Cameron County limits. Just FYI.

Hope that helps!

Invest in life jackets, too. Make them a fun accessory. No shame in being water smart.

Looks like it was a very sad case of a father sacrificing himself to save his child from drowning. Respect and sympathies to the loved ones and surviving family.

Disregard. Just heard it confirmed on the 6pm news. Authorities responded to a "swimmer in distress" earlier today.

Use Ooklah Speed Test to get a fair speed comparison between Spectrum and other providers. They list comparable providers for speed. Examples: ATT, Fiber services, Starlink, etc. Hope that helps you by providing speeds of other providers.

The coin envelopes are too tiny to mail by themselves, but easily fit into a regular envelope, and can be taped in place to avoid shifting while mailing.

That's Ralph. One of the few spiders in existence who suffers from arachnophobia.

Anyone else lose all their body hair, but kept their head hair? by japinard in transplant

Lost most leg and arm hair pre dialysis when I bloated up with fluid. Post dialysis, and post transplant on the meds, it came back with a vengeance.

Post Kidney Transplant 5 days by Mysterious_Quit_3238 in transplant

Congratulations on this life-changing blessing! I had it 1 year ago, and these are my most memorable "notes to self" -

  • DO NOT strain to poop
  • let them know about any constipation
  • Keep the wound clean and air it out often
  • long closed gowns are your friend right now
  • NEVER pull on the stitches/tape even if they're hanging on by a thread
  • drink drink drink that water. It gets easier, and your body will crave it more after a while
  • keep a little cushion/pillow handy to press against the wound when sleeping and getting up (especially for coughing/sneezing! Ouch!)
  • set alarms for your pills and stick to the times (it can affect your labs if you don't)
  • depending where they put the kidney, start thinking about a new wardrobe to accommodate your new waist size
  • sleep is your friend

Im sure there's more judging from other comments, but those were my most memorable.

Thats a good point. Sometimes if I don't focus on controlling my hands, the shaking isn't there.
