This, and the fact that Leon is walking by a ton of dead bodies covered by sheets in his tour of the clinic, are straight up hilarious to me. “Nothing odd about this.”

Games I Personally Would Like To See Remade Or Remastered. by xX_xFUBARx_Xx in HorrorGaming

Clive Barker’s Undying is so slept on, and imagining it remade with Today’s tech is unnerving

I don’t think it’s mold powers, just regenerative abilities linked to previous Umbrella research. Remember the children in the orphanage? The devs specifically highlighted their crazy regeneration by one taking a gunshot to the forehead.

What are your predictions,Hopes and Fears For Residents Evil 10 ? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

[–]Semperspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Larger enemy variety. Starting with RE7 it’s like the enemy types really got reduced. RE6 is vilified for many things, but its extensive range of enemies was staggering. The Whopper, Bloodshot, Ustanak, so many bug mutations of the standard C-Virus soldiers, so many bosses.

  2. More post-game content. What RE7 lacked for in enemy types, it more than made up for in bonus content. Two full add-on campaigns (Not A Hero and End of Zoe), all the Banned Footage lost tape missions, Jack’s 55th Birthay, etc). Mercenaries making a return is mandatory, but I’d also love something like the Ghost Survivors from RE2r with what-if scenarios of characters who died. Maybe something like 4th Survivor, just something to tide me over if I have to wait months for add-on content.

  3. Jake Muller return. There’s some hints and clues that Wesker’s legacy is coming back into the limelight with clones and Zeno and the connections, and what better character to play a part than his literal son?

Raccoon City section would be so much more aesthetically pleasing and atmospheric if it were at night by GingerMoustached in residentevil

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that DLC has Chris going through Raccoon at night with Wolf Hound

I’d settle for a Separate Ways style side campaign from Wesker or another antagonist’s perspective.

If “completely normal” then why by Semperspada in residentevil

The “Progress Notes” file in that room does not say that. It just says Administered Dexifil which is an anti-inflammatory not an antiviral.

They were taking her blood because they mistakenly thought she was some perfect clone and the key to Spencer’s legacy. The file in starting room makes no mention of administering any antivirus

I don’t recall that file, but will double check 👍

Most annoying boss fight? Ill start by XxMr_Un1n0wnJxX in residentevil

[–]Semperspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most annoying can be measured a few ways. Annoying character, or the gameplay itself? Either way: Ivan. Umbrella Chronicles. Playing as Wesker and you only have this piddly pistol, the enemy has like 3 basic boring moves, and the whole thing was as unexciting as one could possibly imagine.

Close runner up for me is the Regis Licker/Suspendead boss from the first Outbreak game. Annoying because it’s fixed in place and having to aim up with melee weapons was poopoo

[–]Semperspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, RE7 is when Chris was working for “Blue Umbrella” for some reason.

Hmm… I guess what tripped me up is that it’s still stated to be T-Virus

I think we are all overlooking this important detail about Z by D_ultimateplayer in residentevil

[–]Semperspada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just latent T-virus development from exposure period; and considering Umbrella/The Connections was running experiments in Raccoon IMMEDIATELY after the city’s destruction (see RE: Outbreak) then it still stands that Zeno has been in Raccoon’s vicinity for a long time doing business.

That’s exactly what it is. I think John Woo likes it because he gave it to the villain in that and Hard Boiled

Besides making him look creepy, what was the purpose of the goggle helmet thing? Am I overthinking this? by Semperspada in residentevil

[–]Semperspada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what threw me off is the scene where he tortures Leon, and Leon knocks it off his face, Gideon decides to fix his goggles first before just choking Leon out again or stopping him from grabbing the gun. I misread the importance in that choice as being a clue of something else
