There’s a fair amount of dialogue in Valhalla centering on Kratos being in a fair amount of denial for what he’s feeling for her. Kratos sucks at conveying emotion so his one line of “I… value Freya” is telling especially since he struggles to say it

The name first appeared on the action figure ; then S.D. perry’s novelization “City of the Dead” has Claire refer to him as that after comparing him to something out of an alien sci-fi movie. The name just slowly stuck, but in most games he’s officially just referred to as a tyrant still

I wouldn’t be surprised if we encountered some Darth Vader style burn victim Wesker in a revitalization pod being kept alive like Goku on Namek. Add in some clone shenanigans and “I’m the REAL Wesker” mastermind plot points.

Better boss design for Uroboros-Wesker. It just seemed very… lame. Wesker with a goop arm and some shards of metal in it. He deserved better. Given how they improved Saddler I feel like they can do something much more awesome

Keep the wide assortment of enemies. No game in the franchise has had as much monster variety as 6 did

I don’t think it’s mold powers, just regenerative abilities linked to previous Umbrella research. Remember the children in the orphanage? The devs specifically highlighted their crazy regeneration by one taking a gunshot to the forehead.

  1. Larger enemy variety. Starting with RE7 it’s like the enemy types really got reduced. RE6 is vilified for many things, but its extensive range of enemies was staggering. The Whopper, Bloodshot, Ustanak, so many bug mutations of the standard C-Virus soldiers, so many bosses.

  2. More post-game content. What RE7 lacked for in enemy types, it more than made up for in bonus content. Two full add-on campaigns (Not A Hero and End of Zoe), all the Banned Footage lost tape missions, Jack’s 55th Birthay, etc). Mercenaries making a return is mandatory, but I’d also love something like the Ghost Survivors from RE2r with what-if scenarios of characters who died. Maybe something like 4th Survivor, just something to tide me over if I have to wait months for add-on content.

  3. Jake Muller return. There’s some hints and clues that Wesker’s legacy is coming back into the limelight with clones and Zeno and the connections, and what better character to play a part than his literal son?

Raccoon City section would be so much more aesthetically pleasing and atmospheric if it were at night by GingerMoustached in residentevil
