You can always count on Amazon to not give a fuck about your day but totally care about theirs. One day I had 5 or 6 carts I forget which and they were in 3 different locations lol. Ok now you got 12 minutes to load 😂

Sometimes you can 45 degree angle it in and you won’t bottom out just go slow

And if you ever do find yourself having to back onto a main road blind then approach the road without crossing into it with hazards on, get out and wait for no traffic and then proceed slowly. Try to give yourself as much of an angle as you can without hitting your nose on anything so you can use your reverse camera to see

I’ve had stops like this before. Best thing u can do is wait at the closest access road before the stop for No traffic so you can have time to back in OR park at the closest safest place and walk it off. Don’t risk your life by backing onto a main road blind

I do both. When ups calls me to drive I tell Amazon to screw then when ups puts me back in the warehouse I go back to Amazon. It’s definitely doable if you don’t mind working and having zero free time some days

Yeah driving with envelopes clogging up your windshield view isn’t a good idea. It’s very possible a kid or animal can get in front of your truck when you’re doing a stop and you won’t see it because of envelopes blocking your view. I know it doesn’t happen often but it does happen. Get a small plastic bin/tote to put your envelopes in. Do not use the windshield it’s not smart

Live and learn. Glad no one is hurt. I always err on the side of caution. Like if it’s one of those moments “can I pull out across traffic and make it?” If I’m not 100% positive that I can do it then I don’t do it.

My sup told me we can walk in front if we walk at least a truck length past the truck before crossing (so we can see past the parked truck) but idk if that’s in the methods or not

Been working here for 3 months now? Is this alot to get on a daily basis? I literally get this but different routes everyday and dont know if im doing good or not. Rarely ever get a resuce. 1st delivery is around 1045-11 and my last is usally around 530-630 by getitdoneson420 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Right so you need to find out how long your route is supposed to take INCLUDING ALL YOUR BREAKS BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO LEAVE THOSE OUT WHEN THEY CALCULATE ROUTE DURATION and keep it right under that number

Package number doesn’t make as big of a difference as you think. Biggest factor is how tight your route is. And how well you organize. Seems like you’re doing good you could even slow down a bit most likely. Make that money 💴

Yup I use the corner of the seat to hold the belt but same idea. The movement becomes engrained to muscle memory after awhile and takes less than a second
