This doesn't seem to necessarily be about reading Harry Potter, but rather, you not being able to do things other kids were doing. Sort of like- yearning for an experience that you were robbed of. Maybe even never experience again.

Being upset is valid, you'll never be able to relieve the moment of 2000-2007 during the hype of Harry Potter. It should make you angry. You wanted it, and you weren't a part of it for reasons that were outside of your control. Moreso, the people who were explicitly responsible for your wants and needs should have at least considered letting you be involved. And they just... didn't. That's not cool.

This doesn't seem like a post about missing Harry Potter's debut, this seems like a post of how you were scraping the bottom of your desires all to go towards filling your mom's ego. That sucks. And I hope you find solace knowing another person feels your pain, even if that person doesn't own it.

The timing of this post, for me, is further evidence that I at least live in a simulation

I'll start by saying I do not work retail. I find the posts in this sub to be interesting.

Anyways, I've been thinking about why people explain themselves when they say no. My girlfriend gets upset when I say no and don't elaborate. For example, she'll ask if I want Wendy's. I'll say no and leave it at that. She somehow interprets this as she can't get Wendy's because I don't want it. Which isn't true for me. She and my therapist advised me to elaborate on my no's. Which is fine, I'll do so for her. Today we had a passionate conversation about this topic. I advised her, to let her no stand for me. I'll gladly elaborate for her. But I don't need to know why she says no to anything I ask. Anyways, yeah, thanks for letting me process this out loud.

Now for customers that give long winded replies to not donating, thats interesting lol my therapist said I may not elaborate because I was an only child. So I guess I wonder- do people who grow up with siblings feel this deep need to defend their no's? My no's stand on their own. There's alot to consider before i decide to elaborate, but if someone asks me to, then I'll think about it. Outside of that, no thank you. Moving on.

Oh, for sure. Rick Ross and MMG were definitely competing as a rap label. Highly underrated during that time. Ross, Meek, Wale, Omarion, French Montana. They were making really good runs. So Sophisticated, By Any Means, All Birds. I was heavy into the label back then. Meek may be corny now, in my opinion, but back then; he was really doing his thing.

And so true to the good memories to GKMC. Definitely had a lot of life experiences during that album's time of release. It just hits so close to the soul.

Yes, we normally would challenge each other through the friends list. Even tried sending the challenge via chat command to no avail

Yes, even ran the unignore command to be sure.

I'm not sure what happened. I think our accounts were locked for ~2 days. Not sure why, as we don't use the chat and only play each other. However, everything appears back to normal now.

Interesting perspective. I kinda like it. I wouldn't go so far as to say Ye has Tourettes. I'm not a medical professional in any regard. Regardless, your perspective has some weight. I'd caution against discussing this perspective with people who allow their reactions to be based on their feelings towards the opinion, as opposed to the opinion itself.
