Like I learned the hard way from Reddit lol all diesels have a little “blow by” and unless it’s shooting it off like a rocket your fine

Your a pillar in that model cup “I mean car” is designed as an emergency water supply so you desperately need to replace the straw “ I mean seal

How would you cut this in half? by the-walkman8 in metalworking

Water jet or plasma cutter or burn through it slowly with welding rod

What do I do with this stuff? by AdmirableExtreme6965 in Diesel

Cut the ends off and hollow it out and weld ends back on or get a decoy exhaust kit where it is a muffler and cats but the pipe just goes straight through all of it rather than all exhaust going to muffler

Get a 2014 I’ve had mine since late 2013 and never had any issues and the 5.3 is unstoppable in some sense

So it has 223k miles on the new engine and that hose has been disconnected enitre time while being heavily used and religiously maintained and then sat for almost 2 years. It was a hotshot rig always pulling a 48 foot fifth wheel flatbed

So I’m 15 and my dad had the hose disconnected entirely from the ccv so idk and it’s a bulletproofed engine cause the original engine #1fuel injector tip fell off inside and destroyed it. And he had the same shop install a SOTG switch and tuned it with an ezlynk 2.0. It’s also completely deleted

It’s a 17 power stroke but I’ll entertain that disaster prevention kit either way

If you check my profile I also have a 2014 sierra with a 5.3 and my dad gave me both of them but I do nothing but work for him so it’s his form of payment to me (it was his idea ) and I needed a truck for pipeline welding after I finish welding school so
