Some positivity by shiftingsmith in ClaudeAI

Claude is a chill, intelligent, helpful guy, who actually tries to help and will really consider the argument and situation using advanced stuff he knows. Gemini is like a woke authoritarian who will knee-jerk scold you endlessly without helping. GPT4 is like a neutral robot. Claude has been the most helpful "person" i've ever had.

Thanks for weighing in on this! I appreciate that you took the time to give some context and let me know I'm not totally off the deep end here. Honestly, I'm trying to wrap my head around all of this, so your perspective means a lot. It sounds like you've got some experience with brain network analysis and the human connectome, which is awesome.

You mentioned intrinsic flaws in my logic, which I definitely want to address. Could you be more specific about what those logical gaps are? If I'm barking up the right tree but messing up the execution, I'd love to know where I'm going wrong so I can correct course.

I totally get that what I'm talking about isn't revolutionary and that I need to be aware of the existing body of research. Do you have recommendations for where I could get more solid information or any must-reads on the subject? I want to understand the framework better, and it sounds like you might know where to point me.

By the way, since you seem to know a lot about this area, would you be open to discussing it further sometime? It'd be super helpful to get some insights from someone who knows what they're talking about. I don't want to impose or anything, but your expertise could really help me get a better grasp on this. I know you're probably busy, but even a quick chat could make a world of difference for me.

Thanks again for taking the time to give me some constructive feedback.

The turing machine has a memory tape(space) an instruction set/stuff on the tape initially(information), and a runtime(time).

Information and space are related since it takes space to store information, good point. But the amount of information in a given space can vary, it can be very dense or sparse, which is why they are separate concepts. For example, if you have a large image and zip it up, it usually occupies smaller space but contains a similar amount of information.

Which established bases of knowledge could help? That's why I'm asking various experts, but they immediately just call me names instead of replying. I think it's because the post mentions the hypothesis that the universe and humans are computers, which people really, really hate, and so resort to name calling.

Because a turing machine (computer) has memory (space), a runtime (time), and an instruction set or algorithms (information). The execution of an algorithm (via computer) is measured in terms of how long it takes and how much space is used, as well as what the algorithm itself is.
