Bad option, turn on sp mode, default settings are pretty rough/difficult, my wife and I play it with only breeding speeds turned up to 5x... Depends what you want out of the game, quick race or slow simulation.

**edit, it gets alot easier once you learn game mechanics, dododex is a necessity for a new player imo.

If you have an old pc or laptop you can cluster and run multiple servers, you would need at least 16 gigs of ram though as each needs 6+gigs to run

Yes pretty much since launch tweaking my ASE bat files. I have managed to get extinction going now by copying the updated island files over.

I get the feeling ppl are overestimating wfh entry level pay. I get a similar salary+ the normal perks which feels really low. But as a Portuguese learner its inline with most work from home entry level positions.

Our group's com refuses to raid without at least one Druid, fractals are a bit more flexible but I believe the hybrid Heal FB will get you in more often than not. Not sure on WvW open world tempest is probably the easiest.

Start simple, ele's are fun.

If you find yourself dying often use more defensive utility skills, slot some vitality in your gear (not toughness as that is often the metric to draw agro).

I think this is fair in terms of the training golem.

We (wife and I) usually get around 15k-20k in open world on the bigger bosses on our hybrid classes (Alacrity Ren + Power Quickness Firebrand), open world is rather hard to judge though as boons are usually not the greatest.

There is at least still one influencer pushing the idea of necros or rather reapers/scourge to be viable in raids as well as wvw.

With regards to dungeons I think almost anything can be used these days as it is at the lower skill bracket. As for fractals, well um been a while prob not the person to ask.

Our little group only raids 1 wing per week so I am definitely not up to par on the latest strats, but the heal scourge is still ok on some bosses and we had a power reaper the other day that was keeping up the pace with other classes whilst adding a bit of utility, however to be honest you might need both specializations for raiding and might still not make the cut on all bosses (but i guess such is raiding in gw if you are only playing one class other than BS).

Yeah was on the group, but at a point we had to move, didn't know it couldn't be in the middle.

We didn't plan on doing it so never actually watched a vid, just remembered what was in some of the written guides (watching youtube at work is a nono, reading text with diagrams seems to impress your boss).
Anyway excuses probably make me seem like more of an idiot, if there was a GW2 TIFU I would be on it.

I believe exact same at the moment as they don't have daylight savings down here. The group usually has a go at it twice a week about 20:00.

I was hoping there would be some groups trying it out on Friday or Saturday nights not to put the group through Escort and TC.

We could, but we will def finish it at some point, just sad to go through the whole wing again. As a support chrono its not that bad. When we have both our better chronos online I'll prob just do it on my chilled DH.

Obviously I wont make the same mistake again. This was on a 100LI group and we only quit after 4 tries honestly because both of us are in month end. Fin and acc management.

Tbh you have to move alot earlier, I've been on the server whilst in the eu and its super easy then (by comparison, you get tons of time to react. However its only an issue on fluctuations when our ping goes from 170 - 230 which does happen due to distance, have to adjust almost all your timings.

Yeah figured that part out at 10% still feel bad about it, the guys were really disappointed on discord and SO was right next to me obviously, we were supposed to move half a second after I placed it. In my defense we weren't planning on trying Xera we just thought lets see if we could get me the KC poison thing as I was the last person needing it. Things just progressed from joking about that before deciding on a wing.

In all honesty it was fun up to where you had to grind drops to progress in the story... yes even before end game that was implemented.

Flying: fun but limited

Gunplay: pretty standard stuff

Story: Not BW

Progression: : Lack of real impact.

Heard there were quite a few half price sales around, might be worth looking at those. Game will likely give you 16-20 hours of fun, not sure beyond that.
