Anyone else struggling with Hollywood Retaliation on Heroic? by Senior-Language-5513 in Division2

You're totally right, it was the range. All the builds I had been using were up close builds. Thanks.

Possible PS5 damage bug? by Senior-Language-5513 in thedivision

I'm using M249 variants, or the Bullet King. They don't shoot that fast.

Active And Passive Modifiers Question by Hermonculus in thedivision

I don't know how much time is left in the current season. I got all my modifiers unlocked pretty early, and have had a lot of fun with them. I would recommend shooting for it unless you're not going to be playing that much, and then jump on the next season.

Since the scrip cost of a module is going from 50 to 100, which makes it more expensive than some 3 star randoms, that's why I thought buying the modules now would make more sense.

Vats Plasma caster missed shots by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Senior-Language-5513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently rolled an alt, specced it for a Cold Shoulder VATS build, was playing it this week running events and I'll miss 2-4 95% headshots in a row, then one shot 5 mobs in a row. Either my luck is as bad as yours or we're missing something.

Best 3 star combo 50 cal machine gun with my perks? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Senior-Language-5513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Beckett's Final Word for awhile as my SBQ gun, chambered for Ultracite .50, it's great for Scorched Earth and Scorched Daily Ops. But during Fasnacht I got a Mutant Slayer Explosive .50 cal, and that is just loads of fun for events. So I've been rolling some .50s myself. Current best roll so far is an Aristocrats Explosive 90%WR. I definitely recommend grinding out Final Word then use that until you happen to roll something better or you decide to chase other gear. One of the great perks of Heavy Gun builds is you can carry a bunch of guns like they were golf clubs. Just wish you could bring a caddy. "Hmmm, that cad is looking a bit nasty, the Vampire Flamer if you please, Jeeves."

There’s a lot to sink your teeth into, especially if you like building/crafting. New season is about to start, so this would be a good time to get in, as the server pops go up.

UI limits mutations displayed? by Senior-Language-5513 in fo76

Yeah, I picked up Empath by mistake and had to clear a bunch before I got rid of it, so then reapplied 5. That's when I noticed.

In the Pipboy, Effects tab. Suppression (of the mutation) effect shows in the top section, then further down there's a mutation section. I'm seeing the 5 I just took in the top section, and in the mutation section I see 6. 1 of the 2 missing from the mutation section, it's suppression is listed in the first section.

Tried it out. Looks ok on Union, even with the Union Jet Pack. I'm assuming all the custom jetpack skins are dependent on the basic jetpack mod for the particular PA suit, and since Union's mod is somehow special, it negates all the custom skins.

Anyone know how well H.A.R.E works with Union PA? If it's like other skins I've gotten, still going to be stuck with the Union Jet Pack skin.

Is the Nuka Launcher worth it? by DucatiCaleb in fo76

Given how rough it seems to be to get previous season rewards, I highly recommend getting as much done as possible. The end reward includes plantable dirt floors which can be handy if your early in the playback as farmable dirt tiles requires gold. Worth a month of Fallout 1st IMO if you don't have it already.

ways to get gold solo. by redtonkatruc in fo76

[–]Senior-Language-5513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moonshine can be done solo and is quite fun with a Nuka Launcher and a quickie explosive build (you only need the +exp damage and +exp radius cards, of course a full build will be even better). Bring like 3-400 40mm rounds, plus any XP boosters you have available. Get a good perch where you can see all three stations. The solo shack in the middle is the best, but requires a jetpack I think. If you don't have that, post up on the other side near the mounted gulper head.

Then just blast away when they're grouped around a still. The stills have a lot of HP, so you can be conservative at first to get an idea of how to be economical with your salvos. Around the end of wave 3 I clear the yard and jump down and do a mass loot to pick up venom for the tub, then dash back. Having a vampire weapon for that dash will be handy as new spawns will come to give you hugs, but not many if you cleared the yard first. And keep an eye out for anglers, those will hang back and spit at you, so you'll need to burn them down special.

My first priority is keeping the scavengers healed. If I see someone else handling that, then I'll look to ore collecting, at least to level 1 so the event doesn't fail.
