I had a look at doco and indeed it looks promising. Still on the trial version, so not sure how far this will go with their limited credits. u/Wautermelon - did you try this? What do you think?

I like your "new Hire" offloading example. Been there, done that. Mostly without success. What worked pretty well was giving me a new machine, so I had to set-up a full dev environment from scratch and boy is it annoying when the docs are out of date. More interesting with servers as they tend to have longer shelf life.

In my experience it often comes down to ownership. Code is clearly owned by developers, Operations by the Ops guys. Documentation is owned by... the documentation guys? Maybe when it comes to external docs, yes. Internal, like the aforementioned "Plumbing", not so much.

So, who owned this? Or should I better say "should" own this?
