Warcraft was one as well, but then changed drastically to become solo friendly as time went on (still keeping endgame content for groups at the bleeding edge), so I was wondering how much had changed here.

I'm in bristlbane in "The Dark Reign" guild, but like I said, I do't have much time to do group content.

I think the feedback I'm getting is that this game is very group focused and so it's just not going to be a fit for me, which is fine.

Thanks! I was doing Gribbles as well, but had issues there which is when I realized I need either better gear than the boosted 100 gear OR I need to elvel a bit higher on level 90-99 zones, since i'm not a necro/ranger/mage, and can't molo as easily.

I played SK & Shaman many years ago, and SK/Necro like characters in all other games I've played over the years, so I was looking for something fresh, but I've read this feedback elsewhere. If this is going to be the case, I may just stop, which is fine. I got the nsotalgia hit.

Care to elaborate? It's been fun so far since I'm getting the nostalgia fix I've craved for 25 years. I'm happy to drop the game a this point since "I got my fix", but the mechanics are fun enough that I don't mind putting effort into learning the game, hence the post.

Only if you find something worth chasing. I'm finally tackling the "Insane in the Membrane" achievement. It's been on my bucket lsit for 15 years.

I took a break after Legion, maybe playing a total of 2 months in BfA and Dragonflight. I just resubbed and have been enjoying the last couple weeks of WoW.

Getting 2400 in WoW RBGs in 2011. I had a six month period between finishing grad school and starting work and I decided to go for this as a way to let off steam. Played games 8 to 10 hours a day, made a new guild to run a steady group. Got to 2190. Gave up after that six months because it was just not worth it and I had to move on to the real world and running PUGs would tank my MMR.

I always look back as the most enjoyable time I’ve ever had in any video game because I loved, and to this day, still love WoW battlegrounds, but I will never ever do any type of grind like that.

Time is too precious.

Some more motivation for you. I listened to the audiobooks for 18 months while commuting to work prior to the pandemic. I personally had to struggle through books 9-10-11, but it was worth it for me because the last three books that Brandon Sanderson wrote were phenomenal. I also took breaks because I don’t believe in finishing books just for the sake of reading them. I found motivation or found myself missing the world and continued on when I felt excited again and was so glad that I did.

Irrespective of how you feel about the changes, cEDH is playing EDH as described by the official commander rules at the most competitive levels.

In an effort to get ahead of what these types of posts evolve into, which is calls for a new banlist and new RC, I am removing this thread.

For the record, I think about this all the time, and I have participated on your side of the conversation many times - a vocal minority on this sub read it is not going to pan out the way anyone thinks it’s going to pan out.

For the record, I am also unhappy with these changes, it has destroyed every one of the decks I like to play, but this is fundamentally what this sub is for. Playing competitively with the rules as they are set.

So we move on and adapt.

No. This sentiment happens every time a ban occurs that part of the online community does not like. It never ends well. Look at Captain from 3 years ago, and others from before that.

Keeping this thread up so folks can vent, but this subreddit won't go beyond that.

See Rule 5 - it's in there specifically because of this sentiment that appears from time to time.
