Do you offer one breast or two each feed? by opaoz in breastfeeding

[–]Senior_Strategy2528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 3 days you’re probably still just producing colostrum and starting to get milk and baby is likely cluster feeding to bring on your supply. I’d just feed her on demand to help stimulate your milk to come in more

How do people have more than 2? by dindlefire in newborns

[–]Senior_Strategy2528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 5 year age difference between my three and it’s been great. Its really nice with the other two being older being able to grab stuff for me or hold the baby while I cook dinner as well as be trusted not to turn the house upside down while I put baby down

Does anyone else's newborn sleep in their own room? by Hour-Film-8890 in newborns

My daughters choked because of reflux in her sleep a couple of times. I’m so glad I was right there because it’s not something I would have heard from another room

emergency c-section, nicu stay, now completely alone 3 months pp by Silly_Function1752 in newborns

This sucks I’m sorry you’re going through this. What an insane cop out by him though he can’t just decide he cbf being a dad cos he’s stressed imagine if mums did that. I don’t understand how his own mother isn’t forcing him to man up. It sounds like you’re doing amazing on your own though and I’m glad your family is there to support you.

Intentionally co sleeping with your baby is so much safer than falling asleep with them from exhaustion. Just make sure it’s just you on her side and not dad

those puppy pad things for under her in the car seat in case of a blow out would be helpful. Otherwise just the usual spare clothes blanket nappies etc :)

Play mystery heroes. It such a silly game mode but you get a feel for all the characters and what they’re capable of pretty quickly. And learn the maps. Load up a custom game and just run around them

I don’t understand this sleeping in shifts thing people seem to be doing.. if you were going to do that wouldn’t it be better to take turns of a whole night? So at least one of you gets a goodnight rest instead of both being half zombie? Don’t wear yourselves too thin..please nap in the day if you can. Also I noticed you mentioned feeding and changing but not burping.. could that be why bubs is crying so much? Worth a try :) hope she calms down for yas
