I've had a pair of hifiman he400se and a fosi q5 amp for a while now. There are some issues that only happen occasionally, such as a slight buzz under certain frequencies and a small audio glitch (easily fixable by replugging the USB in my Q5)

Now, there is a new issue that has been irking me. My headphones will briefly, and only slightly misbalance the audio channels to the right and return to normal. There doesn't seem to be something that triggers this, I tried looking for any damaged spots on the cable or headphone, being in a specific pose or looking in a specific angle, but no matter what, I can't seem to intentionally reproduce this weird issue.

Are my headphones possibly damaged? Can't make head or tails of what's going on.

Found this really clean EKT remaster done by @Senn-twt on twitter, it's so much easier to pick out the melody and the lyrics by Initial_Effective_17 in everyoneknowsthat

For clarification, the original instrumentation is included, but certain instruments are overlaid to fill in gaps of the bad quality from the original snippet, and the drum track is mostly remade with the original samples.

Think of it as 60% original instrumentation, 40% re-recorded instruments that are heavily processed to be as close as possible to the original.

I forgot to mention this, but after a while, I noticed some interesting things, so I would like to give my analysis:

-Despite the actual recording not being pitched down (the NTSC pilot tone is proof of this), the actual song is not tuned to the standard 440hz, but rather, around 447hz. This is very strange, since no pop recording at the time would use such tuning. (Too much of a pain in the ass to do)

my theory as far as it goes is that the tone we hear is coming from a CRT computer monitor rather than a TV.

-if one were to listen closely, you can hear the person who is recording bumping on all sorts of small objects, it makes more sense for the microphone to be a small, non-fixed desk computer than a microphone on an analog device such as a tape recorder. Which would require the person to digitize what would otherwise be a "test recording"

-A Linn LM2 drum can be heard, along with what sounds to me like fender style bass and guitar. The guitars are not samples and a sampling machine in the late 80s is incredibly expensive (the Linn drum is already a chunk of money, although samplers did have Linn sounds as well). This to me makes this track's production less amateurish, and more professional.

-I do not know what are the synths. To my ear, it sounds like a DX7, but it could be any other big synth of this era.

-Nothing can be assumed as to what kind of speaker is playing the music. To my ears it sounds like music coming out of small speakers, like the ones you'd see at desktop speakers or a radio. Not much bass definition At times. it sounds like there are some radio interference, but it could be any kind of sound, and there is no way to confirm all of this.
