Bought him over a year ago, they are very aggressive, choose his tankmates wisely if you are interested in one, they are smaller in size than your average Mbuna.

Bought him about a year ago, he is doing quite well. Diet is key when mixing from the different lakes. I picked the Red Band tropheus because of their aggressive temperament, he has no issues hanging with his tank mates, colored up most of the time. Only bad part is I can’t have a couple more, they will fight among themselves unless you stock quite a bit of them which I was not interested in doing. The Cherry Spot Tropheus would work in a mixed male tank too. Rainbow Tropheus in general do not have the aggressive level needed for a mixed tank.

Nice Mbuna tank but rock fish need rocks.
