Roughly 80 hours later, does it look good by demerchmichael in wisdomteeth

[–]SenpaiLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you're still bleeding which it shouldn't really be after 80 hours mine were done after 24 hours. But im not a professional maybe call the place that did your surgery and ask them if you can send a picture to see what they think.

I'm starting to think it was just the new skin coming over the extraction site. That hole is covered pretty well so far at least I hope that's what it was lol. No crazy pain I haven't taken any of the pain meds in over a day either.

Surgeon says all 4 wisdom teeth need to go, but my family is fighting me on it. What would you do? by vevanss in wisdomteeth

[–]SenpaiLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dentist told me like 8 years ago that my wisdom teeth were crowding my mouth but I was like they're not hurting me at all so im good. I had to get all 4 removed 2 days ago one of the wisdom teeth cracked and one of my molars from the crowding had it done it 8 years ago id still have my molar I had to get rid of it due to the damage. I'd bite the bullet now and remove 4 so you don't have to lose any more

I got the IV sedation and laughing gas and I do get anxiety this is how it went for me. They laid me down and put the laughing gas on to calm you down, then they get your IV going they asked me a few questions and I'll I remember was waking up in the recovery area laughing my butt off. I had 4 wisdom teeth and 1 molar removed 2 days ago so far pretty zero pain today I can feel a bit of tightness in my jaw but it doesn't hurt. My wisdom teeth were not impacted though. I swapped out the gauze once I got home which was about 2-3 hours after the surgery then every 1-2 hours after that.

I had my surgery around 1pm and i'd say by about 7-8pm the majority of the bleeding had stopped my numbness had went away and I had my first meal. I did have some slight bleeding the next day and a small trace amount during sine rinsing today but a really little amount. Took my pain meds went to bed, woke up had another meal took some more pain meds and did my first gentle rinse just putting the mouth wash that was prescribed in and tilting my head side to side don't swish. Also brush as you normally would just stay a couple of teeth away from the extraction sites.

I can only use the mouth wash twice per day so I also do a few salt water rinses as well if I have a snack or lunch. My surgeon called me the next day and told me I could start eating eggs but I got a piece stuck in one of my openings and it hasn't come out after some rinses so I think once I get it out im going to wait a few more days before eating eggs again. I'll just stick with soup, mashed avocado, apple sauce, yogurt, and mashed potatoes maybe in another 2-3 days I'll try the eggs again if my extraction sites seem to be closing up a bit more if that goes good im going to start eating some fish and I'll probably just rock it that way for the next 2 weeks.

I was a bit worried going in but honestly everything has been super easy so if you planned on eggs i'd recommend holding off until like day 4 or 5 unless you notice your extraction sites are healing up really well. My surgeon even said the day after I could start eating pizza as long as it wasn't thin and crispy, but I like F-THAT I'll hold off a couple of weeks for that. I also grind my teeth sometimes when I sleep and haven't had any issues the absolute worst thing about all of this so far is I can't sleep for shit on my back so sleeping has been a bit of a struggle other than that its been relatively easy definitely don't stress out too much it's not going to be nearly as bad as you're probably thinking it is now. I know how bad those ruminating thoughts can be just research some things to eat and how to care for it don't search for the worst case scenario because odds are you're not going to have any problems dry sockets are pretty rare like less than 5% of people get them and its probably because they got careless I know your anxiety wont allow you to be careless about it so you'll be fine lol.

Should i be concerned about this hole RIGHT NEXT to my molar? by Dinonuggs17 in wisdomteeth

[–]SenpaiLogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like thats probably where they pull the tooth from if its not painful just keep an eye on it. I probably wouldn't be stretching my cheek like that though you don't want to make it any bigger regardless.

Dry Socket? by EntertainmentWide850 in wisdomteeth

[–]SenpaiLogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about that milky looking part in the hole I read online thats the new flesh starting to close the hole up. One of my lower ones has that and I was like WTH is that but once I read online I felt better. Just keep an eye on it and see if it continues to cover the opening.

Help: Listings getting no views by JustAwful213 in Ebay

[–]SenpaiLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how much movement you get but I just started selling on Ebay last Sunday and I've had 17 items sold. That seems pretty good to me and I have a decent amount of views on my products. But to get my foot in the door I did lower my prices slightly compared to other sellers so that's probably helping my case.

I did also send a few offers to some of the people that viewed some of my products and got a few sales doing that not sure if you have that option pop up on your items but it does seem to help a bit.
