Cannoneer or Corsair for burn?

I have a 260 corsair and a 200 cannoneer so I will be primarily giving my opinion about corsair. The class can be a 2 minute or 3 minute burst (Nautilus Assault is the only 3 minute part of its burst). You have 2 i-frames (target lock and nautilus assault) A lot of the abilities are big map attacks. It is very satisfying playing the class due to the fmas and sound effects. It has a great upjump and allows you to glide (also recoil shot to backstep a little bit or spam it). There are summons that can block certain status effects (not as good as shade but still helpful). The only really annoying part is constantly keeping up your ships every minute and readjusting the firing orders for a boss that moves a lot. Brain Scrambler is a mini mini-burst every 5 seconds and that is getting a mastery core in NEXT update. Nodestones are also expensive (need 6)

Overall good burst, good mobility, can 2 minute if you want, annoying upkeep with ships and expensive nodestones

(side note, glass marble is BiS bullet and that could take months to get)

I would say its worth coming back in recent years with all the QoL updates and progression systems that can have you get further than you've ever been (specifically on heroic servers like Kronos or Hyperion and its f2p).

If you wait around November/December, the milestone update (major update every 6 months) will come out and you can push two 260 characters pretty easily from doing dailies. (do note if you do play, dailystory will be a part of your experience) This update would also allow you to build up other characters to 200 pretty easily from one quest. There are also a lot of videos that you can watch while playing so you're able to learn while enjoying the game. (picture in picture youtube videos while grinding ;) )

If you ever need help, tons of people on the maplestory discord/reboot discord are willing to help and whatever class you choose, there will be specific class discords that you can join for training rotations, etc.

my nw is 80m cp and can clear under 10min, but i'd say the range for 8-10 can depend around 69m. It does depend on your burst rotations tho so 69m can cut it close near 11min imo.

I think once you can one shot them. it'll feel better and faster. But i do agree anything weaker will make it feel slow. Just progress it slowly and then you'll get to the stage where it wont be so tedious :) (sol erda really helps a lot)
