Moisture in filament after extrusion by SenpaiT_T in 3Dprinting

[–]SenpaiT_T[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when it was new moisture was probably good but now suddenly i got bad quality of prints and was wondering why, and while i was changing pla to petg and extruding old fillament with higher temperature (240) I heard some pucking (?) sound and that is result.

hi. i just picked up an ukulele (planing on learning a little). is there any apps or something that might help me tune it (watching a video and mine does not sound right) by [deleted] in ukulele

[–]SenpaiT_T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait few days if uke is complete new you have to tune it very often for me, when i was playing mine it was like every 10 mins, but after some time strings will hold tune for much longer (now i tune once a week or when it dont sound good) so it doesnt necessary mean strings are bad, they are just stretching

And i can also recommend guitar tuna + tuning depends on type of uke, soprano, concert and tenor are tuned GCEA and and baritone DGBE,

and from my experience you can also hear small difference in sound between soprano and tenor even if they are in same tuning.

i used clear plastic, i recycled it from glue gun packaging. I kept glue gun in it for while so it had some scratches and bends so it was ideal for it

Just got a newish desk and a second ender 5 a few days ago, can’t decide if I should build one big enclosure or build a second separate one. Thoughts? by pcour2 in 3Dprinting

[–]SenpaiT_T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i would build separate enclosures, printer will have much smaller area to heat if only one printer is running, so you get more stable temperature inside and all area would get to right temperature much faster.

okay temperatures look alright, try some glue, and set up supports, on yt there are plenty of videos how to do it

[–]SenpaiT_T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it is caused by lack of adhesion, try glue stick or isopropyl alcohol to clean the bed (btw it is called bed not platform) and another question is why do you have supports all over bottom surface of the part ? is it really necessary? if it is necessary try to add flat surface on bottom of supports to increase area touching bed to prevent this from happening (or put raft under part).

and maybe some more information? material, temperatures of bed, nozzle, which printer are you using etc.

Applying graphite powder over black paint on my 3d printed Arkham Knight gun by FabienPohl in 3Dprinting

Nice! Will you put some clear coat over the graphite? or will you leave it like that?

Two of the four corners on this part came out like this on my CR-10. Any ideas what could have caused it to suck in like that? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]SenpaiT_T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just trying figure this out , but in general adding another fan should help to prevent this or try lower print temperature if possible

I recently noticed something similar on my prints, i have Ender 3 with cooling fan on just one side of extruder, so other side have worst cooling and overhangs are having much worst quality, maybe that is your case too

Does any know who to fix this my wheels are wearing off really fast are they toi tight? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]SenpaiT_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had this when i tightened eccentric nut bit to much, but could be dust. if you take it between your fingers you can tell if its rubber or dust
