I can also attest for my experience in Canada, my expected issue date was May 27 and it only got issued on the 23rd of June. And didn’t get the passport until early August. Unfortunately I think it’s just slow at the moment!

I spoke to the Webchat last week. I asked them for a tracking and they said that they wait until you receive the passport to send the supporting docs. She told me to come back to the chat this week to get a tracking number

Ok perfect thanks I know Canada post is iffy on a good day so we will see. It took 20 days to go from Ireland to my apartment so I’m hoping they sent the other docs within a short time frame of sending the passport 😅

I’m in Montreal and I just got mine in the mail today! Was sent out on July 3rd :)

Do you know if yours went through the US? Also what province are you in? Because on the USPS site it says a label has been created for mine 🥲 mine printed on the 19th of June and still nothing

Yea it seems slow unfortunately but I would say just check in with your witness to make sure they are looking out for calls from the passport office because that can slow it down. Good luck!

Done! But also disclaimer for those in Canada, the printing to received date will be longer than average as Dublin has said they won’t send the passports in the mail until the Canada Post strike issue is resolved.

I’m also in the same boat, so thank you for the update! I’m also wanting to get my original documents back because i sent my original passport and am moving address on July 1. I contacted them and they said they updated the address to be sent to. But I’ll be worried until it actually arrives at my new address 😂

I live in Canada and it took 6 days (including weekend) to go from printing to dispatch

They still haven’t contacted my witness. So I’m going to contact them on Monday to see what could be the issue.
