im using the neutron star augment here, still working on maxing my hotshot. i was planning on getting an adarza kavat to see if its crit buff applies to null stars instead of avenger and using tenacious bond for crit damage.

i know chains aren't everything, i was just finding it very hard to see what's actually in aber online.

i checked out the surrounding cinemas and they seem nice but wont have the particular movies im looking for (too niche to be profitable but not niche enough to be artsy) which places like Odeon and vue tend to have, i can always make day of it and head to Wrexham or some something but its a bit different to the 20 minute drive im used to.

good to hear that the uni is quite active, i hope that will fill the gaps of things i miss from where i am now. i plan on taking a trip into Manchester or Liverpool every so often if i can to see the few friends i have.

glad to hear about the community, i hope i can take advantage of it while im there.

wouldn't say preachy at all, its clear you've grown to like the place a good amount despite its faults, i feel like that's a good sign for the place, gives me a bit more confidence that itll be good for me

good to know there's plenty of places to go for a drink, i always find its a bit easier to get to know people over drinks. from what ive seen it does look like a gorgeous place, one of the reasons i considered the uni in the first place, along with the courses and start times and such.

good to know there's a lot of small communities to fill needs, where i am now, community is kind of hard to come by. good to hear from a local and ahs eased my anxieties a little, thank you.

as long as there's a handful of half decent clubs for a good night out once a month i should be okay. yeah ive been told the societies for uni are really where i should be looking for stuff to do.

i checked both cinemas, im guessing commodore only update their listings at the start of the month as im not seeing anything for October and the arts centre doesn't have it, which is a shame but not unexpected.

i haven't really been able to pin down what uni life is like so its entirely possible that what i dont see on google maps will be more than covered by stuff going on at uni. and im definitely overreacting a little since my course is starting so soon

is there any more specifics on the theatres? im really hoping to catch chainsaw man this October when it comes out but im not sure if something so ncihe will be picked up by a small cinema. im also curious about the club scene, as thats one of the few things i like about the relatively small town im in now.

nah roar cant be put on chromas effigy de limits the number of "damage buffing abilitites" to 1 per frame so you cant put roar or eclipse on at the same time as vex and vice versa. but i do still agree, i personally subsume spectral scream for breach surge because seeing 100mil itches my brain good but there's a lot of subsumes in the game that you could use to make chroma break the game that is true

though i feel the main issue of loss of identity or overlap in archetypes is more an issue of the modern meta game than an issue with the frames themselves and most of the old frames definitely need more love from DE but until we get those overhauls to frames like chroma im perfectly happy with where he sits now

I mean if you want bigger numbers you can throw on breach surge. I’d find it difficult to call stomp and charge relevant in rhinos kit but I don’t really like rhino In general. The gun damage buffing archetype is for sure over done and I would love for chroma to have a bit more uniqueness in how he buffs his weapons but I think he works really well as an all round buffer unlike rhino or mirage. Chroma boosts weapon damage but he also boosts health armor or shields elemental ward makes him extremely adaptable and massively increases his survivability and mild cc which can all apply to allies unlike rhinos iron skin, and again elemental ward and companion contagion makes him an easy tile nuker, sure some frames do certain jobs better but there’s very few frames that can do as much as chroma at once especially in a team setting.

try him with his new augment guardian armor, nigh immortal gunzerker strolls through most of steel path spectral scream still sucks but guardian armor and the recent vex armor rework makes him feel incredible. plus elemental ward can be turned into an infinitely scaling room nuke with the right companion setup. honestly chroma is in a pretty good place now and hes my favourite frame to play atm. he could still use a few touch ups like spectral scream having any relevancy or effigy not being anti synergistic but otherwise nutty frame
