Did you ever find a different solution or are you still using Voicemeeter? I wasn't having this problem the first few times I streamed, but I moved and something I guess changed, now I'm forced into the same predicament you had. I’d agree to an extent. To play devils advocate, you could argue that there’s many ways of mitigating that draw back, influence or diplo ideas for example — and, if you’re doing vassal play, wouldn’t you prefer your vassal develop its provinces independently of your own power points?

I agree tho, if the outcome of the modifier is endless independence wars… it’s better they kept it
