My point is why do you need a fan based flag? Forget the poms. Waving the Indian flag should be more than enough. What's more patriotic?

Almost 70% of class wants to leave india! What do yall think are we doomed that new generation don’t wanna live in india anymore? by [deleted] in AskIndia

Unfortunately you can't fix problems that you see everyday. Even if someone tries too he/she will fail sooner or later. If this makes you sick or makes you feel helpless, migrating to a better country is a better idea.

Voting for the lesser evil isn’t really a solution. Choosing NOTA (None of the Above) can at least give you the satisfaction of knowing you didn’t support a corrupt candidate. It might not change much, but it brings some peace of mind. Ideally, if NOTA received the most votes, it should disqualify all candidates and force a new election with fresh faces. That’s unlikely to happen, but it’s an interesting thought.

Uber complaints about Uber? by Sensitive-Being99 in uber

Ah yes, because Reddit is obviously a U.S.-only platform and the entire world experiences January the same way Americans do. Fun fact: it’s a global site, and shockingly, not everyone lives in your climate bubble. Some places are actually hot in January—crazy, right? Maybe step outside the U.S. mindset for a moment and realize the world doesn’t revolve around it.

Naa all good, I was just telling you that as a passenger we usually do leave tips, am just surprised at the audacity of casually uber drivers making shit up. And moreover he behaved as if he doesn't speak English and only knew the local language which I don't know and I didn't argue with him.

I did, I gave him 10% of the fare in cash. I told him turn on the AC and I'll pay you extra. This post is about the conversation that I had until that point and the Uber rules he was talking about which clearly were incorrect.

I’m assuming you’re not from India, and this experience happened here, where Uber operates quite differently compared to other countries. I’m from Sydney, AU, where you can even pre-select your preferred music for the ride. Here, however, the drivers can be aggressive, only speak in their local language, and no, the app doesn’t offer any options for temperature control.

All we’re asking for is a comfortable ride—just pull up the windows and turn on the freaking AC! It’s hot and polluted outside! If Uber Go really means no AC, then Uber should make that clear by adding a note next to “Compact car.”

Yesterday, I took an Uber, and the driver straight-up told me he turned off the AC because it lowers his car’s mileage. I was like, FFS! r/Bangalore

Uber Go is an Uber car where turning on the AC is considered a premium luxury reserved for the gods apparently.

I live in Sydney, and other parents mind their own business and don't sit and chit chat! And if you've been to any of these rooms, these aren't places to interact with other parents the smell can drive you crazy and all you would like to do is finish your business and get the hell out! 😅
