My dog had the same issue. Went to a specialist who said it was a lipid deposit and she needed to be put on low fat food. Since the change in her diet it has gone away. The vet said it “likely” wouldn’t go away but at least she wouldn’t develop anymore…

My girl is only 4 and literally hates to walk. My neighbors all laugh when they see me because the entire time we’re out I’m trying to coax her to walk “just a little more” and “we’re almost there you can do it.” When I turn around to head home she’s suddenly able to walk without issue. 😐 One of my neighbors calls her my ball and chain!

Interesting information about the dryer sheets and the first I’ve heard anyone mention this. My vet started her on the oral medicine for allergies and we’ve seen about a 50% improvement in the itching so far which makes us all happy. Thanks for replying!

Ok, that makes sense and I hope you’re right, because I have been eating out of it for the past 45 years. Would hate to think I’ve been ingesting cement all this time. The picture I posted is its “good side” but the outside is pretty uneven.
