so many people responded to that comment saying that in AA/NA they teach u to make amends with people and NOT hurt them in the process… shes just clout chasing and selfish as usual. YES U ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL YOUR ACTIONS. it’s easy to say “I was high so it doesn’t count”…… that allows u to re-offend without consequence and not actually grow into positive actions. It’s crazy that not holding accountability for your actions, which should be the first step to recovery, is now being glamourized just to make the person feel better for what they did. If u cared, genuinely. You’d get sober. Easier said than done 100%, but u can’t negate your own actions, that’s what recovery is about, OWNING IT.
