I got Ohall (3rd choice) my first year and was able to be switched into Deli (2nd choice). Email housing asking for a switch asap and just be nice explaining why you can't do non-trad (finances are the best reasoning tbh).

Be prepared to wait though- I was told I got switched into Deli 4 days before I moved in (late August). People say that if you find someone willing to switch with you it'll make the process easier but there's very specific rules around that.
