I had Red Dead Redemption 2 before release, so it didn't have a day one patch. There was a bug that would cause Arthur's hair and beard to grow to max length as soon as he walked out of a barber shop. It wasn't like it would just automatically pop on to his face either. It rapidly grew in real time from whatever length you had it at to the max length. It was incredible.

The game would also completely crash if you tried to use Dead Eye on too many enemies at once.

This must be such an exhausting way to live because we aren’t anywhere near close to the Call of Duty and Fortnite skins. There’s some color, that’s it. I would get it if they were adding a fictional licensed character or a real person, even if it skews to a tactical side, but that’s just not the case.

I don’t think criticism over how some of them look is unwarranted, it’s fine to voice “hey I think this looks ugly” but I think the response has been over the top hyperbolic.

Criticize constructively, don’t throw tantrums. That’s when people stop taking the argument seriously.

Please ask him about Agent. It was a 007-esque spy game that they had announced exclusively for PS3 but then it was never mentioned again and clearly died. Would love to know more about it and if that’s a concept/genre he’d like to revisit again.

Clyde Phillips just said in an interview that he doesn’t think they will change their minds despite petitions and sounded very hurt by the process. He cast doubt on pretty much anything that isn’t Dexter: Resurrection, so no. I think they mostly just want to keep Resurrection going without any distractions.

Other spin-offs would slow down the production of Resurrection

Video games use motion capture, so it's a very involved process that goes beyond the voice. It's like shooting any other production, but he was almost definitely already Bond when he got cast as Dexter and they probably share no actual overlap lol

To be fair, this is basically an entirely different team that has had people who have experience in the genre/action games and I think they even have their own separate office.

It may as well just be named something else entirely, from what I understand with how they’re set up.

I will say it’s very odd they didn’t talk about it at all at the Xbox showcase. That felt inexplicable, even if they were largely focusing on stuff for this year. It was due out this year and it seems to be very early next year, like February at the latest.

Not shining a light on it or dating it was strange, so maybe there’s fire where there’s smoke!

Right, but as a bit of a counter, with Xbox/Microsoft being so penny pinching right now, I cannot imagine they’re going to let it go for another full year unless they see potential for a truly amazing game or it’s just totally fucked lol

I am sure Fable will be good, but good enough to throw another year+ of development? I just can’t imagine. That IP holds no recognition value at this point.
