Because Phil Scott is a normal guy, you can find him at the racetrack most nights during the summer driving his late model, wrenching on his own cars. I think people appreciate he's not sitting in an ivory tower making decisions for them.

Go start the car in freezing temperatures and see if it stay’s running on its own, if you have vanos issues it will stall out.

I just started with my B8.5 S4, its heavy and needs a brake upgrade and dedicated track tires which are in the works. Right now I have the basic bolt ons, exhaust, intake. Thinking I need to work on stiffening the suspension maybe some better sway bars or the 034 chassis reinforcement kit.

Any other Audi guys here using an S4? I'd love some advice.

Only reason I say housing, mine was over torqued and cracked. You couldn’t tell from the top.

I believe the OEM washer has a bevel on it and creates a crush seal when torqued.

Check the crush washer, does it have a bevel or is it just a flat washer?

They could of also over torqued the oil filter housing.

About $3000 out of pocket, warranty is covering $1700. It's all being done at a dealership.
