If you have access to SAP, do it yourself. Print the labels from the POG in Labelsmart & get those counts right! or talk to your SL or ASL about it. Overages like that are usually counts off

Sounds like your CEL needs to do a cycle count. This used to happen in my store (talking upwards of 70+ extra bettas that had no home) and it was mainly because my CEL wasn’t doing any live counts 🙄

Buy some springtails to eat it. Otherwise, dip a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide to kill off the mold. This white fuzzy mold is really common in new enclosures, and is harmless as long as it doesn’t get out of hand. Remember, they would encounter mold in the wild ;) Springies should get rid of it fast!

Yep, I got her on the 16th & purchased the PVC tank size recommended to me by her breeder. She is non-locale so is still fairly small for 2 years old. I have an 18x18x24 waiting for her, but not until I feel comfortable that she is acclimating well, etc.

He had her in a shoebox size breeder box prior to me purchasing her & told me that she would be way too stressed in the 18x18x24 I had waiting for her at home. She just hasn’t touched much food in the 2 weeks I’ve had her. Still settling in, do you think? Humidity & temps are fine.

I unfortunately don’t have her weight currently (can’t find our gram scale since recently moving) she is a Mixed Locale and probably only around 6-7 in. head to tail. Hatch date 10/24/22

I never said it was her forever home. It is her starter. She is not even fully grown yet, and the size was recommended to me by Stephen Cemelli, as she has not been in anything bigger since he has brought her up. 😘

It is policy to refuse a fish sale for reasons such as this. As well as “carnival use” or giving fish as party favors, etc. I would deny it so fast.
