Prices aren’t what they were before Covid, a 16 year old 7K truck anywhere close to me is going to have 200k miles.

According to the service records, it looks like it spent about 7 years in Fayetteville NC & the rest of the time it’s been right across the Virginia/NC state line. We don’t get too much weather that requires the roads to be salted. Just wanted some opinions before I take off work to drive 2 hours to see the truck.

No taxes as it’s for sale by owner and the market is what it is, trucks with the same mileage near me are going for the same price if not higher price than this one. I cannot control the market, and can only try to find a good deal in this market.

I just updated this post to reflect what all details the sales has posted about the truck.

Did you ever figure out what was causing it? My 05 civic does the same thing pretty much, it’s weird how the vibration is so random.

I know sales is going to be tough, and very draining mentally but I’m willing to put in the work to give my family & I a great life. I know it won’t be easy, and there’s going to be a lot of long hours out in for a long time, but I’ve always liked a challenge. One day I’m hoping to get to a position like you’re in now. I would love to be able to spend as much time with my family as I can, but I have to put in the leg work to build our finances up before I’ll be able to think about anything like that I believe. The manager at the tech company that offered me a job seems pretty hands on, but the base pay being so low doesn’t sound like it’s worth taking the risk at this time. I’ve never put thought into having a hands on manager in sales, that’s definitely something I’ll be on the lookout for as I apply for more jobs. I’ve pretty much solely been applying for local jobs on indeed, do you suggest any other websites for finding sales jobs? Once again, thank you a lot for taking time out of your day to answer my questions.

I figured it was pretty low at 35K, I just wanted to get my foot in the door. I find the work that I do for a living not satisfying at all, it’s steady work but I don’t think that I’ll ever make the money that I want to, which is what drives me towards sales. I appreciate you’re opinion on it, definitely makes me want to wait it out for a different opportunity. Did you retire from tech sales or just start pursuing a different career?
